.....when you get a chance, do a google search for "remembering kexl". Jay Pennington has put together the definitive website for those who remembered and loved the radio station.

You will also see the e-mail address of David Doerr who recorded the final three hours before the plug was pulled in 1977 ...David has made a mp3 cd of that and sells it for $10

Also and did or did not know that after kexl went off, I worked at KNCN C-101 in Corpus Christi from August 77 to September 81 and then moved back here to work at KISS ....geez, so much I could relate to you but will do at another time ....enjoy these photos. Bobby R.
