Feb 14, 2010 -Revamped the "Bong Hits" page and the Media "Video" page.
Feb 12, 2010 -The "About us" and "Privacy and policy" pages are added.
Feb 08, 2010 -The remaining pages of the Gallery section are now online. Most of this material is brought over from MikesBandArchive.
Feb 06, 2010 -The "LifeStyle" Blog reader is now active. This page contains RSS feeds from the web featuring articles of interest to the Baby Boomer Generation.
Feb 05, 2010 -The page for Featured Bands is now online under the Gallery menu. It contains a long list of photo and article pages from some of the best bands ever to come out of South Texas. Current bands are included.
Feb 02, 2010 -SaBoomie Chat forum up and running. Everyone is encouraged to register a user name, login, and start chatting and discussions in one of the topic rooms. Have fun. In the meantime I will continue to work on other areas of the website.

BIJOU REUNION - May 29th & 30th: The event was a big success. I've been hearing reports from lots of folks that it was a fun event. A grand time was had by all at the 2 day event. It was full of great musicians, music and fun. View the original flyer HERE.
MIKES BAND ARCHIVE NEWS: The website is undergoing a face lift and interface design changes over the next weeks and months. In progress now. Don't be alarmed if you are cruising the site and the page design changes between new and old design. I will get to them all eventually.
DC INAUGURATION PHOTOS - San Antonio's own ace photographer Belinda Benavidez over at BEL'S PHOTOGRAPHY (web site at: http://www.myspace.com/bels_photography) was lucky enough to attend the Inauguration in DC. She wrote to say hi and to pass on a link to her photos of the event.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2009 AT CARLOS 'N CHARLIES IN AUSTIN!
After a couple of false starts, the much anticipated performance by Too Smooth and a preview showing of the long awaited Too Smooth Rockumentary is set for Sunday, February 8th at Carlos 'n Charlies Restaurant located on beautiful Lake Travis just west of Austin. (For directions go to http://www.carlosandcharlies.com/austin).
The show will begin at 7:20 p.m. with special musical guests The Ransom Notes, and the original members of Too Smooth will take the stage at 8:00 p.m. Texas Music Cafe's made-for-television production of the Too Smooth Rockumentary will be shown to the audience immediately following the bands performance.

Patty Riesz -
Friends of Patty should know that she suffered a heart attack on Thur Sept 11th. She has been moved from ICU to a regular room at University Hospital and may be be able to come home in the near future. Looks like she may have survived a close call. About a year and a half ago she opened a little bistro called 'Patty Lou's' next to Party City in the old Lohmans Village Shopping Center on 410 at Summit Parkway. She may need a fundraiser or at the very least some well wishers to give her a shout. Get well soon Patty.
